some of the crackfic out there is so bad it's embarrassing. but minnow will NEVER write bad crackfic, as as i'm concerned. not only is it funny, but also very clever. and i say this as someone who is REALLY hard to please when it comes to crackfic.

i've also been reading some great RE0 stuff over at billy_x_rebecca by sexgodclari. if you're interested in the pairing, look up the posts. the comm gets almost zero activity, so they should be easy to find.


technomology question: i was typing a reply to a post earlier and my keyboard went all weird, like... i tried to type a > and it gave me a / instead (the > was nowhere to be found, same with the '). the letters and numbers were normal, but the symbols were all switched around. I tried disconnecting and reconfiguring the keyboard, but the only thing that fixed it was rebooting the computer.

i've been reading this rpg since last year, and it kept me interested for a long while, but now that their draco and remus vanished from the internets, things are much more boring now and i don't even feel like reading it anymore. and the h/d and r/s storylines were my favorite things there. thumbs down. shit sucks.

that's the rpg that got me into james/regulus, btw.


in the end i had to go over to my cousin's to get the pictures out of the camera. annoying, but didn't have any other choice. had to leave the camera with him too, damn it. but the pics look great, and i'll post them as soon as i edit them.


I WANT TO PLAY DONKEY KONG. the 1st snes one and the n64 one. wtf. i might have to reinstall my emulator. and i really want to play quake I and II but only if i can get them for the n64 or the ps2 since there is no hope for me and pc gaming. I WANT A LOT OF THINGS obviously but even if i had all the games i want i wouldn't have time to play right now. :[
did i mention that i bought metroid prime for the gamecube and the damn disc had a huge SCRATCH in it and it won't play? i can't even return it because i only opened the box months after i bought it and the receipt had been long since lost. :[

they look so perfect together. it's smutty and hot, and sweet at the same time, and it hits so many of my R/S buttons. it made me grin like a complete idiot. it's stylistically simple, but very expressive and you all know i love that. WHY CAN'T I DRAW OR PAINT LIKE THIS, I ASK YOU. UNFAIR.

i can't stop staring at sirius's leg.


i think i'm gonna start reccing the art i like. at least so i can keep track of it.

i joined photographie yesterday, after realizing that i wasn't part of any photo-related communities (except for abandonedplaces). we'll see how that goes. i'm also considering taking an oil-painting class, since i suck at it and it'd be nice to have something to do in my last month of freedom.

i'm sort-of getting over the artists block. not that this was easy to draw, but at least it wasn't a nightmare. i'm going to try to do some zelda stuff next, since i'm much more comfortable with drawing those characters...

Oh my god, you guys, my Small Gift got posted today (well, yesterday) and it's so awesome!!

Spell Damage by lazy_neutrino, rated PG.

It's set late in OoTP, it has Sirius coming back from the veil as a nineteen-year-old, saved by a gift from Regulus. It's got confusion, banter, Horcruxes, and the complex changes in the character relationships are just so deliciously hinted at! There are so many details, I've re-read it like four times and I still feel like I haven't found them all. I fangirled and gushed all over the place, omg. It even included my massive kink for subtle touches that convey so much love without even needing to go further than just touching. AND it has a lovely (funny, even) hopeful ending. :D

Though this is probably my favorite part (which is probably shallow of me, but. well):

'That horrible beard is gone.'

Sirius' jaw dropped. 'I had a –'

'Yes,' Remus said tersely. 'It wasn't good. Trust me.'

omg, I'm so in love with this story.

So, for this morning's surprise, i got invited to participate in the Big Bang challenge.

my reaction: OMG WUT SRSLY?? cos i'm like a total n00b at H/D. really. but i've read the fics at the challenge site and all of them are made of awesome, so i'm totally flattered.

i think i'll accept, april and may aren't too busy for me school-wise, so i think i can crank out the 2-picture minimum, at least. it's easier when they're story illustrations. i'll have over a month to do it, and i always work better under pressure. *g*
