me gustan los aviones me gustas tú  
i've been reading this rpg since last year, and it kept me interested for a long while, but now that their draco and remus vanished from the internets, things are much more boring now and i don't even feel like reading it anymore. and the h/d and r/s storylines were my favorite things there. thumbs down. shit sucks.

that's the rpg that got me into james/regulus, btw.


in the end i had to go over to my cousin's to get the pictures out of the camera. annoying, but didn't have any other choice. had to leave the camera with him too, damn it. but the pics look great, and i'll post them as soon as i edit them.


I WANT TO PLAY DONKEY KONG. the 1st snes one and the n64 one. wtf. i might have to reinstall my emulator. and i really want to play quake I and II but only if i can get them for the n64 or the ps2 since there is no hope for me and pc gaming. I WANT A LOT OF THINGS obviously but even if i had all the games i want i wouldn't have time to play right now. :[
did i mention that i bought metroid prime for the gamecube and the damn disc had a huge SCRATCH in it and it won't play? i can't even return it because i only opened the box months after i bought it and the receipt had been long since lost. :[

ps. updated the blog again with a video and words. but i mostly pulled stuff out of my ass so it probably won't be a very interesting read.

Fantastic, again -- simple and powerful. Love his expression, and the colouring is really effective.

The R/S coat grabbing pic is adorable, but I keep coming back to look at the Remus picture. You've given him a real presence.

I just keep loving the way you draw Remus and Sirius. The first picture here looks like a quick sketch – to capture a real unique moment. And the second one... He looks so right. As if the man whose life I’ve been sharing in my stories were finally standing in front of me. This makes me wish... that this were a self-portrait drawn by my Remus. Or that I could have an icon made of this.

thank you! it's funny, i have a very clear idea of how he looks like, but i always have a bit of a problem translating it onto paper. still not good enough at realism, i guess.

i could make an icon, but mine are pretty basic really. besides i always feel like my drawings look a bit wrong at that size... but i could still try.

I’ll be so grateful, if you want to try. Pretty basic is what I’d like; when the art is good, no tricks are needed. I must have seen an icon of Warm Me Up around, and it makes me wish that the picture of the older men in bed could be used in the same way, but I suppose it’s not possible to really do justice to those pictures in icons.

Oh, as I must have told you, I haven’t actually had a clear image of Remus’s looks in my mind. When writing I’m mainly inside of his head, and I’m not good at all at visualizing characters. The level of realism here is just right. I could make this portrait represent my Remus and still leave some space for readers to see their photorealistic visualisations in their minds, if they manage to reach something like that. Besides, the line and colour here makes such an emotional impact that this seems to reveal something deeper than his mere looks.

Thank you so much. Oh, I love them all. If I have to pick one, I think now I’ll choose the first one. It seems to do the best justice both to his expression (as enough of a close-up) and to the whole (including his hair style and clothing, although I love all the rest, too, like the stitches on his shoulder). Perhaps I could finally have another icon in addition to the one I’ve used exclusively ever since I came to lj!

Thank you! I’ll be so happy to have an icon nobody else uses. I’ve used only one icon, because I want to be recognized easily. But I’m also happy to know that I share love for these icons with you, [info]elsane, and wirh others who are fond of Remus and of your art, [info]nk_aoede.

Oh, having read the new comments, I want to add a couple of things (without spamming your inbox too much). As far as I know, my Remus doesn’t have any scars on his face either, but they work perfectly here (and we can always decide that these are not permanent ones). And [info]rev02a words wonderfully what I saw here and what is so very my Remus, too: broken and determined to go on.

Oh Merlin. This is the way Remus looks in my head but I've never been able to visualize him so clearly.

Would you mind if I save the second image to disk so I can look at it, even if the internet dies? If not, can I at least add it to my LJ memories?

Both are gorgeous! I realized something just now. The way you often draw Remus is almost exactly like the Remus in my head - all lovely angles and interesting scars.

thank you! the remus in my head doesn't have any scars on his face, but sometimes giving him some when i draw him adds an extra something. it's like the cherries on top, or whatever. XD

I just keep coming back to look at these.... the first one: Sirius looks so passionate; like he's trying to convince Remus of something. I love it. Absolutely love it. And the second... gah, takes my breath away. He looks so... deliberate. Like he's broken... but determined to go on. Very... stoic and so very Remus.
